Aaron Cromie
Aaron Cromie is a Philadelphia based director, performer, mask & puppet designer and writer who recently premiered A PAPER GARDEN at the American Philosophical Society. He recently won a Barrymore Award for his contributions to the design/movement of Theatre Exile's THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE. Aaron will direct and design TITUS ANDRONICUS this spring for the Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre. He is a graduate of the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre. As head of a super PAC intent on convincing Optimus Prime to run for president, Aaron’s come a long way.  From humble beginnings as a student at Eastern Connecticut State University, to many years participating at the Eugene O’Neill Puppetry Conference and finally emerging as an artist in 2010.  Aaron’s come a long way, seriously, he toured with Tears of Joy Theatre in Portland, for three years.  That’s like, thousands and thousands of miles Traveled! Eric Wright
Mister Wright has been a professional puppeteer since he graduated Sarah Lawrence College in 2003.  He has since performed in productions of Peter and Wendy, La Bella Dormente, Madama Butterfly, Seemore's Playhouse, Don't Trust Anyone Over Thirty, and Powerhouse. He, along with Emily DeCola and Michael Schupbach created The Puppet Kitchen, LLC, a puppet design and fabrication shop in the East Village. Frankie Cordero
Originally from Chicago, Frankie is a producer/director/designer for his company, Frankenstudio, with Ken Berman. They have produced for clients such as A&E, PBS Kids, Collegehumor.com, Atlantic Records, Motorola, Sia, Julia Nunes, and The Gregory Brothers. Frankie also freelances as a puppeteer for TV/Theater, and will be performing in the Met Opera's Madama Butterfly, directed by The Late Anthony Minghella. Gina Leigh
Gina Leigh (Performer) is learning hula hoop tricks. She enjoys Dr. Who, plums, and cats. She's a gypsy gal, spending time in OR, NJ, and CT. Gina just wrapped up a summer of puppeteering as Alfreda the Cheetah at the Philadelphia Zoo, in the XTinkShun Experience by the Jim Henson Company.

Jim “Nappy “ Napolitno (host)
Jim Napolitano is a graduate of the University of Connecticut's Puppet Arts Program and is surprised to be entering his eighteenth season of Nappy's Puppets. Nappy's Puppets is dedicated to presenting quality puppet theater to audiences of all ages. The goal of each performance is to inspire and educate the audience on the range and scope of shadow puppetry as an art form ( though that may not be evident in tonight's performance).


Honey Goodenough
Honey Goodenough is a puppeteer, producer, educator, clown and magician. She has performed with Phantom Limb’s “The Fortune Teller” at HERE Theater, Theodora Skiptares’ “Lysistrata” at La Mama, Alissa Hunnicutt’s “The Kid Inside” and the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater in Central Park. You can also find her clowning around NYC Children’s Hospitals for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. And yes, that really is her name.

Jaime Hass-Powell 
Jamie Haas-Powell is thrilled to be making her debut at the Tank! This is her first puppet showcase, as well as her first year at the O'Neill Puppetry Conference. She is currently enrolled as a freshman at the County College of Morris in NJ, as a Music major. A few of her passions include singing, dancing, creating music, and entertaining children and families with her puppet, Flaire!

Jon Levin
Jon Levin is a co-founder of Sinking Ship Productions. Recent directing credits with Sinking Ship include Powerhouse and There Will Come Soft Rains, both at the New York International Fringe Festival.  In 2008 FringeNYC granted him an award for Outstanding Direction.  Additional directing credits include The Selkie for Urban Stages touring Outreach Program and Tales from the Wind and the Sun as part of Metropolitan Playhouse’s Children’s Theater. This past summer, Jon was a participant at the Eugune O’Neill Puppetry Conference and has studied with Eric Bass at the Sandglass Summer Puppetry Intensive at the University of Connecticut. Jon is a theater curator at the Tank and is the founder of the bimonthly event, Puppet Playlist.

Jon Little
Jonathan Little is the founder of Little's Creatures puppet troupe.
He has incorporated his own wacky sense of humor and personality into every
puppet performance he does. He has worked on T.V. pilots, web shows, and has
countless videos on his YouTube channel. Jonathan graduated from the Museum School of Fine Artsin Boston. After graduating Jonathan went on to work with Kaiju Big Battel performing at venues up and down the east coast playing a wide variety of characters from giant sandwiches to a hammer wielding vikings. He is also a skilled dancer having danced with Boston Ballet. Now he is the primary puppet builder for Little's Creatures and a skilled puppeteer with a wide range of characters. He also thinks it is very weird to write about himself in the third person.

Leila Ghaznavi is an Actor Puppeteer and Playwright who currently lives in Philadelphia. She has produced and performed her original work, Silken Veils, in many cities across the US and most recently in Edinburgh, Scotland as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has a masters in acting from the California Institute of the arts and is a graduate of Dell'Arte International Physical Theater Professional Training Program. This is her first ever puppet slam!

Marta Mozelle MacRostie works as a shadow and Taiwanese glove puppeteer with NYC-based Chinese Theater Works, and has appeared around town with her hand marionette and Schmutzy the dancing chicken. Most recent design and building credit: Homer's Odyssey at the Green Room Theater at Bleecker 45 for Handcart Ensemble. When not puppeteering, she can be found fronting her quintet, Marta Mozelle & her Solid Senders, at various weddings and swing dance events.

Martina Plag
Martina Plag is creative director of studium-praxis and creates puppetry for adult audiences. Her masks, puppets and automata have been in juried exhibitions and have awarded her seven residencies. Meghann DeCristoforo
Megan DeCristoforo is a puppeteer and puppet builder. Most recently she performed in Kevin Augustine’s Bride at the Puppeteers of America Festival in Atlanta. She is also a preschool teacher. Robert Smythe
Robert Smythe has been working with puppets for about 45 years. He is the Director of Emerging Artists for the International Puppet Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center and the Director of the 2013 National Festival of the Puppeteers of America, to be held at Swarthmore College. He is the founder of Mum Puppettheatre, and isn't too bad once you get to know him.


Ryan Dillon
Ryan Dillon is a professional puppeteer and puppet builder living in Brooklyn, NY. At seventeen, Ryan began working as a puppeteer for Sesame Street, becoming one of the youngest to ever work for the company. Since then, he's played numerous chickens, monsters, and various Muppet day-players.  Ryan recently ended his run atJohn Tartaglia's ImaginOcean, making his off-Broadway debut. Other puppetry credits include: Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, The O'Neill Puppetry Conference, as well as various commercials, pilots and online video projects.  www.dillypuppets.com
